Tracey Snelling was commissioned by the Berlinische Galerie to create a sculpture based on Großhügelhaus, Josef Kaiser’s unrealized utopian social housing design. The sculpture also draws on Dieter Urbauch’s photomontage of the design. It was created for the exhibition Josef Kaiser: Building for the GDR at the Berlinische Galerie, Berlin.
